Thanks to all who downloaded The Outsiders, supported our Kickstarter and have been in touch in recent months. 

This is just a short update to say that the project has not been abandoned, but is currently on the backburner for both of us.

We made the decision to pull the plug on last year’s Kickstarter after it seemed like we wouldn’t make enough to make the project to the standard that we hoped for. After this we were approached by a publisher who were interested in producing the game with us. We worked with them for several months before the project was, sadly, canned. This was obviously a massive hit for us both, not only because of the roadblock it presented, but also because of all the time we spent working with them which could have been spent our own development or with a different publisher. 

As of this month (April 2025) we do still intend to make the game, but have unfortunately had to put some of the work on the backburner while we both focus on other projects. Archie is working on art and layout when he can and I (Marsh) am reaching out to other publishers and looking at alternatives that might help us get the project moving again. 

Until we have any updates we’re going to keep The Outsiders online for those that downloaded - and will aim to put out digital copies again some point this year.
